Aviation

KSLC...Light west to VRB winds shift southerly after sunrise with generally mid to upper VFR cloud cover. Winds are favored to shift back northwest around 20-22Z. Another grazing system will advance a cold front towards the terminal late Tuesday evening into the overnight hours. This will bring an increase to VFR cloud cover and modest (~20-40%) chances of showers between ~04-07Z.

REST OF UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING...For southern terminals, clear to mostly clear skies and light diurnal to at times variable winds persist. For northern terminals, winds through the day Tuesday will tend to follow a diurnally normal pattern, with some mid to upper level VFR cloud cover filtering through overnight. Late Tuesday evening into the overnight hours a modest cold frontal boundary will advance into northern Utah and southwest Wyoming. This will bring an increase to cloud cover, as well as around a 20-50% chance of showers between around 02-09Z Wednesday.
