About this map

Radar: NOAA's Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor (MRMS) mosaic of the NEXRAD Doppler radars, quality-controlled base reflectivity, a new image about every two minutes. Colors run from light precipitation (blue, green) through heavy rain (yellow, orange, red) to hail and the most intense cores (magenta).

Warnings: the National Weather Service's watches, warnings and advisories, in the colors weather.gov uses. Satellite: GOES GeoColor from NOAA and NASA, the Himawari satellite over Asia and the Pacific, and the day's VIIRS image elsewhere.
