What: West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph for Pyramid Lake and Lahontan Reservoir. Waves 1 to 3 feet for Pyramid Lake.
Where: Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake.
When: From 10 AM to 6 PM PDT Monday.
Impacts: Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft.
What to do
Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.
