What: Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph for Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, and Prosser and Boca Reservoirs. Waves 2 to 4 feet on Lake Tahoe.
Where: Greater Lake Tahoe Area.
When: From 4 AM to 6 PM PDT Monday.
Impacts: Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft.
What to do
Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.
