From the National Weather Service office in SGX, issued 1 hr ago

Synopsis

Not much change in high temperatures is expected for today followed by a gradual cooling trend through next weekend. Chances for showers will increase each day for Thursday through Sunday with chances for heavier rainfall increasing during next weekend. There could also be stronger and gusty wind for late Saturday through Sunday. Tides will remain elevated through much of this week.

Aviation

260500Z...Mostly VFR conditions across the region through the period. 20% chance for very patchy low clouds based 500-1000 ft MSL over nearshore waters and along the coastline tonight and 30% Monday night. No impacts expected for coastal TAF sites at this time.

Marine

Winds gusts near 20 knots expected in the outer coastal waters Monday afternoon and evening. Otherwise, no hazardous marine conditions are expected through Thursday.

Beaches

Morning high tides will create significant coastal flooding through Thursday afternoon. Tides will be anywhere from 1 to 1.7 feet above astronomical predictions, with morning high tides approaching and potentially exceeding 8 feet starting Monday morning. While surf will not be elevated, these will be near if not record-breaking tides. A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for the entire Orange and San Diego coastline through Thursday morning.
