What to Know
Polish Hot Dog is being replaced with an acai bowl and vegetarian-friendly salad.
Costco members aren't happy about it, and many go on Twitter to #SaveThePolishDog
Costco is the place were you can stock up on groceries and get a new flat-screen television all in the same run. However, one thing is no longer available at the notorious one-stop shop, and some people on Twitter have some feelings about that.
The membership-only warehouse announced Thursday, July 5, that the Polish Dog would be removed from the food court menu.
Fans of the dog have not taken the announcement lightly. Many of whom have taken to social media to express their horror.
My entire childhood is eating a polish hot dog after shopping at Costco. And not to mention y'all took off the berry sundae and added an açai bowl. You also took off the chocolate ice cream and only have vanilla and this vanilla açai swirl. Genuinely mad. #SaveThePolishDog

[email protected] is getting rid of its Polish hot dog at the food court and plans to add more health-conscious options like vegan food items, including an Acai bowl. BUT rest easy: the original all-beef hot dog combo, sold for $1.50 with a soda, WILL stay on the menu. @NBCLApic.twitter.com/bgcJtYSFxU

Not only have Costco customers been denied the beloved junk food, but they will also have to stomach the Polish Dog's replacements.
The retail company removed the classic dog to make room for two healthier options -- an acai bowl and vegetarian-friendly salad....
